The Fall 2022 Festival Welcomes Driftwood Spirits
“Driftwood’s Spirits are inspired by the ingredients and methods we have developed as brewers. We use exotic strains of yeast, B.C. malt, and ferment them like beer to make the wash for our stills. We wanted to make distinct West Coast spirits. Our Beers are known for being intensely flavorful and we wanted Driftwood Spirits to follow that ethos.” – Driftwood Spirits
Parabola – Floral Gin
0.5oz pour for 1 token.
45% ABV
As we ran our trials, we quickly realized that we would need to release two distinct gins that would sit at different spots on the flavour wheel. As we experimented with different distillation techniques we were continually drawn to the many facets of our floral botanicals.
For Parabola, we wanted to explore these delicate flowers and create a gin that had depth and an unmistakably floral experience.

For Contact Gin, Jason and Brendan wanted to create a Citrus gin that would resonate with West Coast consumers and have the familiar Citrus notes you find in Fat Tug and our West Coast beers. Using our beer hop profiles as guidelines we looked to deliver that same citrus punch and we dialed up the body and mouthfeel giving you a distinctly West Coast feel on a classic category.
