Megan’s Notes

A delightful offering from the Bodegas Cepa folks, Hito was created in a young, modern style. On the palate, red fruits abound, with undertones of blackcurrant and mulberry. Adding to that, this lively energetic red also has notes of licorice, vanilla, and spice. The tannins are supple, making this a very approachable wine on its own. Being Spanish, though, it’s happiest served with food.  Think light tapas or grilled vegetable, but will also hold its own with bolder meaty dishes.
