The room smells of wet clay from the morning’s work, but it’s time for a tea break, so the potter brings out her biscuit barrel!
All of her favourites were ripe for the picking. Will it be a sugary ginger snap? How about an apple and fig newton? She goes for an old classic – the Garibaldi. It’s pretty hot with the kiln going, so she decides to forgo the usual cup of tea and opt for a cold glass of concord grape juice instead.
