A juicy and approachable blend from our friends at Arrowleaf Cellars.  The Merlot and Pinot Noir components were harvested and fermented separately. The Merlot was given a short maceration time of 7 days to keep the tannin levels moderately low. It was combined with very ripe Pinot Noir from Ritchie vineyard and aged for 12 months in Eastern European and American oak.

Aromas of blackberry, eucalyptus, plum and vanilla. Medium to full-bodied on the palate with moderate acidity, ample fruit concentration and well integrated oak and tannins on the finish.
