Glencadam Origin 1825 is a sweet and fruity single malt that takes its name from the year Glencadam Distillery was originally founded.
A specially selected combination of Glencadam malts that have matured in both American oak ex bourbon and Spanish oak Oloroso Sherry casks; the end result is a sweet, yet spicy and floral whisky that displays a fruity complexity – ranging from red fruits on the nose and yellow fruits on the palate.
Nose: Creamy, floral malted barley with hints of vanilla that welcome the arrival of mixed summer fruits.
Palate: Bananas, pineapple, pears and boiled sweets merge with a delicious mix of soft spice.
Finish: Floral with pear-drop sweetness.
