Tomintoul Seiridh is pronounced “sheh-ree” which is the Gaelic word for Sherry. This perfectly balanced single malt has been matured in American Oak Bourbon casks before being finished in specially selected Oloroso Sherry butts from Jerez in Andalucia, Spain. This process of finishing has created a beautifully rich, complex and full flavoured single malt.
Nose: Rich and inviting with aromas of sultana, butterscotch and candied pecans.
Palate: Sweet and luscious with layers of dried figs and christmas cake highlighted with touches of cedar spice.
Finish: Warm, nutty and long with notes of chocolate covered raisins, dried fruits and hints of liquorice that fade into a woody linger.
